The Orange Glowing Light on my Computer

A faint glow comes from the bottom of my computer. The reflection coming from the desktop is no larger than a tip of a pen. It takes many seconds for my eyes to adjust to even scarcely see this light glow. I peer down the bottom of my typewriter too come across an orange oval. Very small indeed. Easily covered by the top of my fingertip. What could be the purpose of this glow? A controlling button or simply for the amusement of the writer? I don't dare push it at risk of shutting down my computer for all eternity. I look. That's all, just look. Wondering my days what this faint, speck of an orange glow does. Will I never find out? I don't entirely believe so. One day, in the distant future I may know. But for now, I simply look and wonder.
